What are the indicators of a faithful church? How should someone pray for a faithful church? As we continue in our study of Colossians, we will answer both of those questions as we look at Paul’s opening encouragement of and prayer for the church at Colosse. If we are faithful Christians serving as a part of a church body, it is vital that we know for sure that we are a part of a good and faithful church. Then, when we are there, it is just as important that we know how best to pray for that church. This is especially timely in our annual focus on prayer and our current month’s emphasis on praying as the church for the church.
