Japan's Nao (@nao_rural) has established a name for herself as a resident DJ of the very special Rural festival, and for her versatile and razor-sharp sets delivered frequently around the Tokyo scene as a member of the addictedloop crew. We were fortunate to meet her when she came out to support her friend Wata Igarashi in SF, and after discovering the kind-hearted soul behind the talent we knew we had to invite her onto the podcast. Our latest podcast comes from Italy's Simone Bauer (@simonebauer), a relatively new face on the scene with a couple of well-developed releases already under his belt via @norite and @annulled_music. Inspired by the communal and contemplative aspects of techno, Simone instills the natural beauty of his home city, Terni, into every aspect of his productions and DJ sets. The mix he has given us is immediately impressive, deliberately mixed and weaving deftly through a series of gorgeous, understated tracks. This is truly a journey of the highest order, and we're excited to share it.
