My name is John Hill and I wrote the podcast description for sure this time. This week we actually talked about Delicious in Dungeon first because we moonlight as an anime podcast. Also we saw a very special screening of John and Julies favorite movie Nowhere and fell down the James Duvall rabbit hole binging Doom Generation and Donnie Darko. THIS WEEK! We head to NYC's biggest, baddest anime convention AnimeNYC for our follow up to our 2022 maiden voyage. This time: John goes on a solo day Friday and experiences the convention alone without a crew to go with and whether or not it's a fun experience. Then, we talk our dual day together on Sunday which included a Critical Role panel, discerning how good (or not) an artist alley print is, why is there marine recruitment at an anime convention, how to make friends at a con and finally: John's existential crisis after seeing a bunch of young people enjoy life while cosplaying.
