Episode 22 – One Design Kite Racing concept CR:X, is this the new brand for Youth Olympics 2018? Mike Raper Brand Manager, Cabrinha Kites and new CR:X and Peter Austin with experience from One Design Classes.

Neil Godbold has a big passion for kite sports and with friends in Asia started the KTA. For the KTA TT racing has been amazingly successful from the start, with them having now run hundreds of races over the KTA’s 41 event career. Neil thinks that twin-tip racing is an excellent discipline that make it possible for any rider to have a go at racing with their existing equipment. They have found over the seasons that depending on the conditions by adapting the courses to maximise TT performance that it has been possible to race effectively in 8-10 Knots. The KTA believe in the sport having a strong grassroots base, that’s keeps hold of its kiteboarding identity and fun factor as the way to work with the sailing world to build its Olympic future. To this ends they have support and developed youth and rider training whenever they can.
