“If you like your insurance, you can keep it.” Is that a lie that many of you believed? I knew it was a lie when I heard it, because my default is to not believe anybody in the government who says they are there to help me.

Regulations that are met ostensibly to restrain many businesses are authored by those same businesses with the idea of keeping competitors out of the marketplace.

Many people believe that a single-payer system would kick the insurance companies to the curb and end their profit-seeking ways, but that simply is not true.

Do we want the order of the marketplace, which is basically based on the preferences of consumers, or do we want the order of bureaucrats imposed on us? Take your pick, it’s one or the other.

I hope many of you have enjoyed this and I also hope I have presented it in a way that you have, in a comfortable way, been able to face the possibility that you too have been deceived and it has not sparked anger in you, but a desire to seek your own knowledge and research to find out if I’m right or wrong and to find your own truth.

The only thing that scares me at this point, in regards to the free market, is that someone in government will try to “help.”
