I had a dream that left me thinking deeply about discernment, false light, and what we allow ourselves to receive.
What looked like light on the surface had something hidden behind it.
I’m sharing the dream exactly as I experienced it and the Scriptures God brought to mind afterward.
“Test the spirits to see whether they are from God.”
1 John 4:1
What if the story of Noah isn’t just about the Flood?
In this episode, I’m following the thread of God’s purpose for humanity from creation to the Flood. Humanity had become corrupt, the earth was filled with violence, and God brought judgment. But in the middle of it all, He preserved Noah and his family.
And then God says something that caught my attention: “Be fruitful and multiply.”
The same command He gave humanity in the beginning.
The Flood didn’t mean God had abandoned His plan. He was preserving humanity, continuing His purpose, and moving history forward toward redemption.
This is a look at the Flood through a bigger lens: God’s plan was still in motion.
What happens when you’ve been doing all the things you know you’re supposed to do, but somewhere along the way, you realize you’ve been performing instead of truly abiding?
In this first episode of Suronda Surrendered, I’m sharing a little of my story and how God brought me into a season of surrender.
There were a lot of things happening in my life during the years I was away from podcasting. I was carrying things I didn’t always know how to process, and although I never stopped loving God or reading His Word, I became tired and distracted. Even my time with God had started to feel more like a task than intimacy.
Then God showed me something that changed the way I looked at my relationship with Him:
Stop performing for Me. Just surrender.
That’s where Daily Yield was born. And now, it’s also where this podcast begins.
This episode is an introduction to Suronda Surrendered and to the posture I’m learning to live from every day.
Not having all the answers. Not trying to have it all together. Just saying yes to God and yielding to wherever He leads.
Seek. Study. Ask. Surrender.
