Laura explains how she found joy after having an identity crisis. First, Laura realized that she was too quick to trust. A lot of it came from a place of wanting everyone to like her. As a leader, you do this to your detriment. At the time, Laura wasn’t as discerning as she is today.

When something happens to us, it actually can be disempowering. A lot of people are experiencing this with COVID. The things we have to deal with is something that is outside of our control. However, we have agency over how we manage the challenge. Who do you want to be on the other side of all of this? This is something we can all work through.
