So here is what we are cooking for this month.

A few years ago i was drawn into the world of Ted Talks. I think it was at Hive Colab where one of the speakers mentioned them. Then one thing led to another and i found an interesting piece by Glen Greenwald. This is a presentation of his talk (in from of notes) with basic section summaries created by us (me). Many ideas to talk about surveillance, the role of the fourth estate, whistle blowing, secrecy, national sovereignty, espionage and control to name just a few. The second piece is related to the first and is a conversation shared by an American Statistician Rishad Tobacowala covering a number of areas including Data Analysis. I recommend that you read this piece and maybe even subscribe to his substack just for the wealth of knowledge and experience that he shares. In addition to that please listen to an episode with Gofaone Modise in which he featured talking about trends in our world related to how we deal with and interpret data.
