Kama Montermini is the founder of the non-profit Survive, Strive and Thrive Foundation which provides community and adventures for siblings of special needs people. In August 2020, she published a children's book "Special Elliot: The Story of a Special Needs Sibling" based on her own experience raising her son, Eli. The proceeds from the sale of the book go toward funding adventures and scholarships through the Survive, Strive and Thrive Foundation. Kama is the current Mrs. Thurston County (Washington) America 2020, a mom of 3 boys, and has been married almost 34 years. She loves adventures and always chooses Victor over Victim.
