Back in 1999 Our guest today was the founder of Wasabi Group back.  The wasabi group consists of 3 restaurants, Wasabi, Chosabi and Choichi Raman/Wasabi Catering.

This married father of 4 came to Canada from Laos when he was just 10 years old.  Like most immigrant children from back then, he started working at the age of 12 years old and hasn’t stopped yet.

His current role inside his company is Food research and development.  He is in charge of ordering fish and seafood from around the world and taste testing it before it hits their menu.

He also has a big dog named Cooper and is probably the only Asian that doesn’t like rice.
