Dr. Dan Burba, DVM the head of the Clinical Veterinary Sciences department at Oklahoma State University shares his personal experiences with Hurricane Katrina when he worked in Lousiana and having a tornado hit his own property in Oklahoma! After living through these disasters, Dr. Burba has been very involved with giving back to the community and helping individuals prepare for natural disasters with their animals. Dr. Burba volunteers with state animal response teams, and serves on the board of local animal response teams.
