Marc Headley grew up in the Church of Scientology. He joined the Sea Org when he was a young teenager.

Marc became an executive in Golden Era Productions at Scientology International Base in San Jacinto, California.

In his executive position, Marc routinely worked directly with Scientology leader David Miscavige. Marc describes the actual incident in which David Miscavige flew into a rage and violently assaulted him.
