Perhaps you’re asking how this all ties into Buddhism… We can’t answer that directly but what we can point to is the connection between present moment awareness, or meditative mind, and spontaneous creativity.
Look to Zen Calligraphy and the famous Enso. Usually, a person draws the ensō in one fluid, expressive stroke. When drawn according to the sōsho (cursive) style of Japanese calligraphy, the brushstroke is especially swift.
