Need your teens to read

Everyone needs to read. They are not teaching this in our schools....have your teens read to actually know and be aware of these atrocities and to ignore our country's situation can lead this to happen right here in our county

An Astonishing Tale of Bravery & Survival

I have read at least 50 memoirs on the Holocaust/Shoah, but rarely do you find one as raw, honest, heartbreaking and inspiring as this one. A definite must read!

Great book written in a straightforward way.

I liked the quick moving, easy to understand and readability of how the Jews were treated during World War 2. This was truly written from David Mark's heart.

This is a well written story of survival during the holocaust. This is a really unique story. It's about choices you you make and how they can affect your life. Sometimes you have to think outside the box and go against the popular opinion. An amazing story of how the holocaust wrecked a perfectly good family. Excellent story. I give it 4 out of five becasue the writing coujld have been better. But it is still a story worth reading..

Interesting read, as the story continues on about his life after the war...

I enjoyed the book as it covered his entire life. I've read many holocaust survior stories, but this was the first one I've come across that tells the story of what happened in depth after the war was over and the struggle to get to Palestine, I never knew the conflict with England over it. Overall a good read, but in some places the story repeated, and towards the last few chapters it was not as well written, and dragged on a bit in the manner it was conveyed. However still a good overall read and an amazing life!
