Joe Wharton didn’t expect to be out of jail for Christmas but with his good behaviour he was out and Christmas was as good a time as any for what he had to do. He planned on killing the cop who testified and got him convicted and finds he has more reason to do it when he discovers the cop has fallen in love with and married his girl Lucile. Lucile had promised she’d wait for Joe and now Joe plans to kill them both.
