What is the Biblical definition of missions? Is reaching the unsaved really that important? Drawing from the Bible, we discover what missions is, why we do missions, where we are to go, and when we are to do it.

The believer is separated from the world simply because he has hope. The world is searching for both hope and peace, but they will never find it. Why? It comes only through faith in Jesus Christ.

Christ promised several groups of saints that they would one day reign with him. What will these saints reign over?

The Roman believers provide believers of today a sparkling example of what it means to be filled in all goodness. It ought to be our desire and aim to be filled with goodness through the mighty power of God.

A warning is given to all believers to beware of doctrinal error that would lead them astray. There has always been error that leads ignorant believers away from the Bible. We must take caution to prevent our own falling away.

We do not have to wait to enter heaven to live an abundant life. Through the finished work of Christ on the cross, we can live the abundant life right now.

Just as sheep follow the shepherd, we are to follow Christ! As the shepherd of His flock, he will guide us, protect us, and help us through trials we face. He is the shepherd of our soul. The question is will we follow His voice, or choose our own path?

Several times in this book, Peter, under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, tells us to be looking. Let's learn from 2 Peter what we are to be looking at.
