Service follows salvation, sanctification, and submission. The order is importance. One method of serving the Lord is by ministering to other believers. This is exemplified by the pastor of the local church.

God took our brokenness and made us new, he does not want us to be the best version of ourselves, but to be like Christ. He wants us to walk in holiness as redeemed children of God. He wants us to purify our lives and especially our mind. The endowment of a sound mind brings a desire for purity.

In this message we see three selfless men: Paul, Timothy, and Epaphroditus. Ultimately, the message challenges us to examine our own willingness to hazard comfort, choices, and change in pursuit of a life dedicated to serving God and others, mirroring the example of these devoted individuals.

Hannah recognized the great truth that God is almighty. It was He alone who could answer her prayer. Rather than be tepid, she sought him with her whole being, all the while realizing that it was up to Him alone to answer her prayer.

The world is full of wars and strife. Peace is sought, but it is not found outside of Christ. There is coming the day when there will be total peace in the world. But this peace will only be available to believers in Jesus Christ.

God wants you, in this life to live through Him, by Him and for Him. Much like you will one day in heaven. What direction are you headed? What is the direction of your life?

Is there anything that can separate us from the love of God? As seen in Romans 8, there is absolutely nothing that can separate us. This is such a wonderful promise to latch a hold of in this life.
