Many times, the believer fails to follow the God given means of handling conflict even though it is a great responsibility. How the believer handles conflict with the brethren will either build the brethren up, or it will tear them down. Therefore, this responsibility must be taken seriously.

Conflict cannot be avoided in the Christian's walk. However, the reaction to the conflict can be determined by the individual. This reaction is what separates the wise man from the foolish man.

There is no replacement for diligence in the believer's life. Diligence involves careful speed, study, and hard work. The result of diligence in the believer's life is great spiritual growth.

The spiritual decline of David was brought on by several compromises in key areas. His immersion in ease and his isolation from positive influences were key to his decline.

Many times in the Old Testament, especially with David, the believer prays a prayer for God to execute judgment on an enemy. Are believers today to follow this example in praying today?

What enabled Daniel to maintain godliness in the pagan culture of Babylon? He had the desire to be different, the discipline to maintain that desire, the determination to not give up that desire, and the denial of the world to continue in that desire.

Daniel had a choice to make... Would he comply to Darius's decree or would he stick with God. Even in the pressure of the moment, he chose to continue in his faithfulness. The key to his continuance was in his dedication to prayer. Without a dedication to prayer, the servant of God will wither in the time of trouble.

The grace of God, both in its saving efficacy and its sustaining power, is what missions is all about. Without this amazing manifestation of God's love, there is no gospel to share.

Christ's coming and work is unconditional. There is nothing man can do to stop it. However, His blessings are completely conditioned on our obedience.
