To the parent, the soul of the child must carry much more weight than their worldly accomplishments. If this is not so, priorities must be assessed to meet God's standards.

Throughout history, there has always been enemies to the church. This is still very true in our day. If the church is going to remain the pillar and ground of truth, it must take a decided stand to separate from false doctrine and stand on the doctrine of God's Word.

Having a sound mind requires an intentional decision by the believer. It is the result of steadfast discipline and sobriety in the believers' desire to please God. In the end, the sound mind will be secured in the hope of Almighty God.

In order to serve God appropriately, we must think right, decide right, and walk right. It will not happen by accident. Such service to God requires great effort, but the reward is great.

The King James Bible balances superb accuracy with unmatched beauty and majesty. Its translators took great pains to deliver for future generations an English Bible that was a pure translation of the Greek and Hebrew texts.

To some, setting a music standard can be very difficult. Does God really have a standard for music? There are principles given in the Word of God that will enable every believer to determine what music meets God's standard. In the end, music cannot be left to individual tastes, but God's standard must be sought.

Fathers have many responsibilities, they are leaders, teachers, they are givers. And those that have had godly fathers have much to be thankful for. A good father will leave a good legacy, but just because a father loves and serves God, does not mean his children will too.

The suffering of Christ is an example for the believer to follow in the sufferings here on this present earth. The struggles that we face can be quite difficult, but we have an example to follow. We also have a great hope in the resurrection of Jesus Christ and our future life in heaven with Him.

Prior to the King James Version (1611) the English people did have access to the Word of God. Starting with the Wycliffe in 1382 and continuing up until 1611, there was work being done to give the English people a faithful translation of God's holy Word.
