The believer has a responsibility to love God first in his life. A believer with a preeminent love for God will fulfill his responsibility to love his neighbors as himself.

Everything that God does is good. However, when mankind does something new it may or may not be good. Here, the world came up with a new way of carrying the Ark of the Covenant. This way was taken up by David and led to serious troubles in his life. The believer today must show discernment and know the Word of God in order to avoid such failures.

Separation #2 - There have always been those that separated themselves from certain actions or activities of life. But for believers, this separation is based on a desire to please the Lord and be made fully conformable unto Him.

Service is the watchword of the Christian's life. Through we are all ministers of God, God has especially ordained government as a minister of God. It is the believers responsibility to submit to government. Only when obedience to the government would be disobedience to God is it right for the believer to disobey the government.

God's mercies are new every morning. It is His great mercy that we are saved for eternity and preserved in His hand. His mercy is great!

Peace can only be found in Jesus Christ. However, believers often lack peace in their lives, because they do not realize that they already have it in Christ. Yet, peace should be a hallmark of every believer.

The grace of God is a marvelous gift to mankind. Whether unbeliever or believer, all men are benefited by the grace of God. However, the believer experiences the greater grace of God in salvation, sanctification, and service.

It is a responsibility of every believer to have sympathy, especially so with the brethren. It is also a responsibility of the believer to not repay evil with evil. Time is the great indicator of the truth that God will repay those who do evil.
