A believer is admonished several times in Scriptures not to despise certain things. Yet most often, they are admonished to not despise the preaching and teaching of the Word of God.

The twenty-third Psalm portrays the Good Shepherd through the eyes of the sheep. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil for Thou art with me.

Communion with the God that knows and created you is a fulfillment that nothing else can bring. It produces the joy and gladness that our hearts long for. May it never be broken.

-We are to live in the Word like the sun abides in the heavens and to keep watch as observers do the stars. Only then will we know the great reward of communing with God.-
