We've been studying permaculture for several years but the way most permaculture books are written, the concepts either don't apply to Alaska or they take some serious tweaking to apply.   

We had the opportunity to talk with Rachel from Abundant Life Farm, and she got very real about the challenges and rewards of having a family milk cow in Alaska.
