Sometimes God doesn't remove us from our work.
Sometimes He removes us from everything we've built so He can rebuild us.
In this episode, I share the unexpected journey that took our family halfway around the world to Jordan and into a season I never would have chosen for myself. What I thought was an interruption became one of the greatest gifts God has ever given me.
The wilderness wasn't where my business ended.
It was where my striving did.
Join me as I share the lessons God taught me through surrender, identity, and learning to trust Him in a season where none of my usual strategies worked anymore.
In This EpisodeSometimes the greatest thing God is building isn't your business—it's you.

From the outside, everything looked like it was working.
My wedding planning company was thriving. My systems business had grown beyond anything I expected. Clients were coming consistently, referrals were flowing, and I had finally built the business I thought I had always wanted.
But underneath the surface, something was beginning to crack.
In this episode, I share the season where success exposed weaknesses I didn't even know existed. What looked like growth on the outside was quietly becoming unsustainable on the inside. I was constantly rebuilding my business between serving clients, convincing myself that exhaustion was simply the price of entrepreneurship.
Looking back, I can finally see that the problem wasn't my workload.
It was my foundation.
In This EpisodeGrowth doesn't create fragile businesses—it reveals them. Before we chase the next level, we have to ask whether the foundation beneath us is strong enough to support it.

Some of the biggest turning points in life begin with a simple "yes."
When I launched Ashleigh Foy for Creatives, I thought I was helping business owners with one thing. I had no idea God was slowly revealing the work He had been preparing me for all along.
This wasn't the business I planned to build—but looking back, I can see how every job, every client, and every unexpected opportunity was leading me toward systems, operations, and helping business owners build stronger foundations.
In this episode, I'm sharing how one business unexpectedly led to another—and how what felt like a pivot was actually years of preparation coming together.
In This EpisodeGod rarely wastes a season. Even when the path seems unexpected, He is often preparing us for work we never imagined we'd be called to do.

What if the strongest business you ever built was the one you created before you knew all the "rules"?
Long before I taught systems and operations, I accidentally built a business on a strong foundation. I wasn't following a proven framework or chasing the latest strategy—I was simply solving the problems in front of me.
Looking back, I can see that those early decisions shaped everything that came after.
In this episode, I'm sharing the story of Sweetly Southern, what those early years taught me, and why I believe sustainable businesses are built differently than we've been led to believe.
In This EpisodeSometimes our greatest strengths are built before we realize they're strengths. Looking back reminds us that God is often teaching us lessons long before we understand why we'll need them.

What if one unexpected moment completely changed the way you looked at the last nine years of your life?
A few weeks ago, four unexpected days gave me a perspective I didn't know I needed. As I looked back over the last nine years, I realized that what had always felt like disconnected seasons were actually part of one much bigger story.
This episode kicks off a special series where I'm sharing the journey God has taken me on—from weddings and entrepreneurship to overseas moves, burnout, and rebuilding. Not because I have all the answers, but because looking back has changed the way I move forward.
If you've ever wondered whether God is still working in a season that feels confusing, unexpected, or even painful, I hope this episode encourages you to trust that He is often connecting pieces you can't yet see.
In This EpisodeSometimes the clearest picture of God's faithfulness comes when we stop looking ahead for a moment and look back at where He's already been at work.

I’ve been quiet lately.
Not because I ran out of things to say. Not because I stepped away from the podcast. And not because I had some perfectly planned break.
The truth is, life changed very quickly.
After more than 48 hours of bombs, missile alarms, and uncertainty, my boys and I left Bahrain in the middle of the night as part of an evacuation convoy.
We crossed the causeway into Saudi Arabia in armored vehicles, drove for hours through the dark, and eventually made our way onto a plane home.
Along the way, there were moments I still don’t fully know how to explain.
This episode is not a business lesson.
There are no three takeaways, no neat bow, and no call to action waiting for you at the end.
I simply wanted to share where I’ve been, what happened, and why I’ve been quiet.
Because this story is not over yet.
We still don’t know exactly what happens next.
But looking back over every mile of that journey, one thing is clear:
God had us - He always has and will always.
Have you ever felt like no matter how much you do… you're still behind?
Like the to-do list never ends… And even when you check things off, the pressure doesn't go away?
In this final episode of a powerful 4-part series, we're uncovering something deeper than time management, productivity, or planning…
👉 What's actually driving your day
Because the truth is… Most Christian moms and business owners aren't struggling because they have too much to do.
They're struggling because they're being led by a constant internal pressure they never consciously chose.
And that pressure? It sounds responsible. It sounds productive. It sounds like what a "good" woman does.
But it's not producing peace.
In this episode, we walk through:
✨ Why feeling behind has nothing to do with your schedule ✨ The difference between living by the world's standards vs God's way ✨ A powerful look at as a real-life example of living in the world without being shaped by it ✨ The hidden "voice" that may be driving your day (and why it never lets you feel done) ✨ A relatable before-and-after picture of two women living the same life—but with completely different internal experiences ✨ How to recognize that voice in real time and take back authority over what leads you
The Truth You'll Walk Away WithYou're not behind.
You're not failing.
You've just been measuring your life by a standard that was never meant to measure you.
And once you see that… you can begin to live differently.
The difference isn't in what you're doing… It's in what's leading you while you do it.
Do you constantly feel behind… no matter how much you get done?
Like you're moving all day, juggling everything, checking boxes—and somehow it still doesn't feel like enough?
In this episode of the Sustainable Foundations Podcast, we're uncovering something deeper than productivity… something that's been quietly shaping how you measure your days, your success, and even your worth.
Because what if the pressure you feel… The constant sense of being "a step behind"… The need to stay on top of everything…
Isn't actually coming from your capacity?
What if it's coming from a standard you never consciously chose?
In this episode, we explore:
If you're a Christian mom running a business… trying to manage your home, your responsibilities, and your calling…
This conversation will help you step out of the pressure to "keep up"… And into a way of living that actually brings peace.
What You'll Walk Away With:
Feeling like you're never doing enough as a Christian mom and entrepreneur is something many faith-led women quietly carry every single day.
You move through your day trying to keep up with the house, the kids, your business, your faith, and the constant list running in the back of your mind — and yet, no matter how much you do, you still end the day feeling a little behind.
In this episode of the Sustainable Foundations Podcast, Ashleigh helps you uncover where that pressure is really coming from and why it's not a time management problem at all.
You'll discover:
Why you feel like you're constantly falling short, even on productive days
The invisible "scorecards" you've been trying to pass without realizing it
The powerful question God asks in Book of Genesis that changes everything: "Who told you that?"
How living in today's world mirrors what God's people experienced in Babylon
Why Christian women in business often measure success the world's way without noticing
What God's way of measuring a day actually looks like
A simple awareness exercise to help you notice the pressure you've been carrying
By the end of this episode, you won't just feel seen — you'll begin to recognize the invisible expectations shaping your days and understand why this pressure has felt so normal for so long.
This is the second conversation in a series that will help you see where these expectations came from — and prepare you for how to begin laying them down.

How "behind" is often tied to standards you never consciously chose
