Oregon EPR packaging laws are furthest along with a reporting requirement starting March 31. According to 3/3/25 CAA webinar, producers will be invoiced starting in July.

With the Oregon program about to begin with a March 31 deadline to report, many people need a beginners overview to what EPR packaging is all about. Extender Producer Responsibility shifts the cost of waste management to the producer.
