In today’s episode of this mini series, I am chatting with Claudia Campbell, founder of Vyable Beauty. Prior to starting the brand, her experience was in the digital space to help global retail brands achieve online growth and create better customer experiences across their online platforms. Vyable beauty was started as a side hustle, keeping Claudia busy and sane throughout lockdown and as a beauty lover, it has been a real passion project for her. She enjoys learning all about the impact of ingredients on both people and planet. Through building a brand like Vyable, Claudia embarked on a personal journey to leading a more sustainable lifestyle with the aim to help educate others and give back to communities/causes impacted by climate change.

In today’s episode, I’m catching up with Founder of St. Rose, Belinda Smith. ST. ROSE is a fragrance house rooted in the art of nature, born in Australia and crafted in New York. The good for you, good for the earth fragrance line has at the heart of its creation process a sustainable and ethical supply chain, as well as transparency on every ingredient used in its six signature gender-neutral fragrances.
Founded by Belinda Smith in 2018, it was her insatiable curiosity and search for clean transparent luxury fragrances that led her to start ST. ROSE. Although Belinda had spent her career in the luxury sector, working in marketing for companies such as Omega, she very much came to the world of fragrance as a maverick. In hindsight she believes this to have been a gift as she went straight to farm to source many of the key ingredients used in the six signature scents which are all clean and made from up to 98% natural and naturally derived ingredients.
Named after the Patron Saint of Gardeners, ST. ROSE is also a 1% for the Planet Business working with key environmental partners WildArk, One Tree Planted and also the KFDF, an Indigenous-run not-for-profit foundation in Australia linked to its Sandalwood Farm.

With almost a quarter of a century building international supply chains for flower businesses John has worked in almost every sector. He is a stubborn optimist who passionately believes that business should always be a force for good. This episode is one of my favourites.

In today’s episode, I’m speaking with the founder of premium clean beauty brand, Indie Lee. We are discussing whether sustainability is just another buzzword in the beauty industry and what changes established brands can make to improve their supply chain.
A little more about their story. In 2008, Indie Lee was diagnosed with a life-threatening brain tumor that doctors felt could be environmentally derived and attributed to something as simple as what she was putting on her skin. This was her awakening. After surviving a successful surgery, she embarked upon a new journey, Indie Lee skincare - a clean beauty line dedicated to educating and empowering others to live their healthiest life.

Today I am chatting to Esther Knight, founder of Fanfare Label, all about circularity in fashion and how traditional fashion brands can implement ethics into their supply chains. Esther has worked in the fashion industry for over 12 years, working as a buyer for many high street & designer brands, including Vivienne Westwood.
Working her way up to buyer level, Esther saw first-hand the pressure that fashion companies placed on their suppliers, the exploitation of factory workers & the environmental impacts of the industry. Esther saw the need for urgent change and realised she could not contribute to the broken system any longer, rather than leaving the industry she began working on a solution.
Fanfare Label is an award-winning circular clothing brand changing the way people buy, wear & consume clothing and one I personally adore.
