This audio file contains the English translation of Prabhuji's Hindi Hari-katha. At the start of the class Prabhuji warned us on how to differentiate between devotees and those posing as devotees. We were also told on how we must be very careful to not traverse the path of karma, lest it fill our hearts with many worldly desires.

A resident of the asrama must serve anyone who comes, regardless of that person belonging to any particular group, religion, or school of thought. We were told to follow especially follow this instruction.

Prabhuji then continued explaining how Sriman Krsna Caitanya Mahaprabhu (known as Nimai Pandita when He was a boy) instructed His classmates to properly respect their Gurudeva, Sri Gangadasa Pandita. We were then told on how the marriage between Srimati Visnupriya Devi and Nimai Pandita was arranged.

The class ended with a heart rending description of how Mahaprabhu told His mother, Srimati Saci Devi that He was going to take sannyasa. During their conversation, He also told His mother of how His elder brother, Sri Visvarupa Prabhuji had appeared in His dream.

In this class, Prabhuji started speaking from the 23rd verse of the 29th chapter from the eleventh canto of Srimad Bhagavatam. At the conclusion of this chapter, Krsna summarizes all His instructions to Sri Uddhava.

Krsna's instructions to Uddhava are especially pertinent to the devotional practitioners.

At the start of the class, Prabhuji described the life of his mother, Srimati Narayani Devi. She was a special recipient of Sriman Caitanya Mahaprabhu's mercy. Mahaprabhu gave her His remnants when He noticed how she brought many pots of Ganga water for His abhiseka, and how she sincerely served His associates.

Prabhuji then described how Vrndavana das Thakura was previously Vyasadeva. Vyasadeva felt disappointed to be invited only once during his appearance day. On that day Nityananda Prabhu observed Vyasa-puja along with Mahaprabhu. Therefore, to fulfill the desire of Their dear devotee, Sri Gaura-Nitai arranged for Vyasadeva to take birth from the womb of Narayani Devi.

While raising her son, Narayani Devi would glorify Mahaprabhu and His associates to him. Except Mahaprabhu's glories, Narayana Devi didn't teach anything else to her son.

Thus, by the mercy of his mother, Vrndavana Das Thakura was able to write the biography of Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu, which was called Sri Caitanya-mangala. Srila Prabhupada Sarasvati Thakura later re-named it as Sri Caitanya-bhagavata.

Mahaprabhu had requested the Thakura to not take Him out of Navadvipa. Therefore, the Caitanya Bhagavata contains all the pastimes that Mahaprabhu performed in Navadvipa-mayapura.

Thus, Vyasadeva was given the eligibility to describe Gaura-lila by Sriman Nityananda Prabhu Himself. The Hindi class has already been uploaded.

Also, by taking shelter of the Guru-varga's kirtanas, our prayers will be heard by Sri Krsna.

Prabhuji then spoke of an instance where a brahmin boy questioned his parents about the sacred thread.

We were then told on how sweet the water of a river is before it mixes into the ocean. Similarly, a devotee never thinks of merging with the Lord; he maintains his sweet, fragrant identity of being the eternal servant of the Lord in one of the five mellows.

In this class, Prabhuji continued speaking from the 28th chapter of the eleventh canto. While describing sat-karma, Prabhuji described the history of Maharaja Sibi, who offered his body as food to save a pigeon from being devoured.

Prabhuji then spoke of how a women told Srila Gurudeva that she loved her dog so much; so much so that she wanted to have herself buried alongside her dog.
