Prabhuji had Syamananda Prabhu, Krsna Murari Prabhu, and Caitanya Prabhu speak on the glories of Sri Prahlada Nrsingha. The English translation of their talk is contained in this audio file.

In this class, Prabhuji spoke on the life of the Avanti brahmana. His history has been described in the 23rd chapter of the eleventh canto of Srimad Bhagavatam. Previously, the Avanti brahmana was extremely greedy, miserly, and angry. His wealth was usurped by his family. When he became a renunciant, people treated him with much despise. But the brahmana tolerated every action of theirs.

Prabhuji then spoke on the life of Khatvanga Maharaja who only had 24 minutes left to live.

21 May 2016 was the appearance day of Sri Radha-ramana, Srila Madhavendra Puri, and Srila Srinivasa Acarya. It was also the disappearance day of Srila Paramesvari Thakura. Therefore, Prabhuji had Giridhari Prabhu speak on their glories in Hindi. Thus, this audio file contains the English translation.

In this class, Prabhuji started speaking from verse - 44 of chapter - 22 of Srimad Bhagavatam - Canto 11. We were told on how our seemingly inexhaustible fruits of karma will be exhausted upon sincerely serving Sri Radha-Krsna. A spark of fire can burn heaps of wood. Similarly, if a person has even a little desire for Krsna's service, then all his karma will be finished. Still, he must be careful to not share his love with others.

It is imperative for the sadhaka to be with Krsna (by chanting His names) at all times. Therefore, every action the sadhaka performs should be for the pleasure of Sri Radha-Krsna. Prabhuji then spoke of how Srila Jiva Gosvami would always serve his deities of Krsna-Balarama during his childhood. He would always clasp the two Brothers to his chest and serve Them at all times.

This audio file contains the English translation of Prabhuji's Hindi class. Prabhuji continued explaining the seventh canto of Srimad Bhagavatam that contains the history of Hiranyakasipu and his saintly son, Prahlada. We were told on how Hiranyakasipu became grief-stricken by his brother's death at the hands of Sri Varahadeva. To avenge his brother's death at the hands of the Lord, he told all his fellow demons to slaughter all the cows, and brahmanas because fire sacrifices would then be stopped. There would be no ghee produced from cows' milk and there would be no brahmanas to conduct the sacrifices.

Hiranayakasipu also had all the trees uprooted because the saints mainly subsist on flowers and fruits. He then went to perform austerities on the Mandaracala mountain. He was then blessed by Brahma with the boon of near immortality.

Meanwhile, his wife Kayadhu was taken away by Indra who planned to kill her child. On being chastised by Narada, Indra begged for forgiveness. Narada Rsi then spoke hari-katha to Kayadhu and her son. Upon Hiranyakasipu's arrival, Narada then named the son as Prahlada.

Prabhuji then described all the events that lead to Sri Nrsinghadeva's appearance.

We were told on how Harinama Prabhu will protect the sadhaka at all times. Also, He will only give what the sadhaka needs, and not what the sadhaka wants. He ultimately makes the sadhaka a niskincana Vaisnava. A tree is known by its fruits; similarly, a disciple's demeanor will influence people's opinion on the disciple's Guru. So, a disciple must always be ideal and follow his Guru in every respect.

We were told on how some people take shelter of Vaisnava dress, and signs externally. But their inner moods don't correspond to their external dress. A story of a person who deceitfully fasted was told in this regard.

Today is Sri Nrsinga-caturdasi. Therefore, Prabhuji started reading from the seventh canto of Srimad Bhagavatam that explains the appearance of Lord Nrsinghadeva and the glories of His dear devotee, Sri Prahlada Maharaja.

In the council of Yudhisthira Maharaja, when a fire sacrifice was being performed, Krsna took His cakra and cut off the head of Sisupala. A light came from Sisupala's body and merged into the lotus feet of Krsna. Yudhisthira Maharaja thought, "Oh, how wonderful this is! How did he merge into Krsna? So many rsis are performing severe austerities, day and night, not sleeping, standing on their toes, sometimes even standing upside down on their thumbs, not taking any water, and not even breathing air. Still, doing this for a very long time, they cannot attain liberation. But in a moment Sisupala achieved this. How wonderful this is!"

Narada Rsi then told the King the history of Jaya-Vijaya and the Four Kumaras. And then, he spoke of the history of Prahlada Maharaja and his father, Hiranyakasipu.
