English translation of Prabhuji's Hindi Hari-katha. In this class, we were told on how Krsna becomes most pleased when a devotee takes shelter of the lotus feet of the gopis. Prabhuji also spoke on the history of how Sri Kesavaji Gaudiya Matha manifested in Mathura. When Srila Parama Gurudeva secured the Matha in Mathura, his Godbrothers said, "Why didn't you try for a temple in Vrndavana instead?"

Srila Parama Gurudeva replied, "Here in Mathura, Krsna is suffering from intense pangs of separation from Srimati Radhika, the Vrajadevis, and all the Vrajavasis. Unlike Vraja, there is no one to comfort Krsna here. So, if anyone can soothe Krsna's separation by chanting Srimati Radhika's names and by reminding Krsna of the glories of His beloveds, then this will be the best form of service to Sri Radha Vinodabiharijiu. Hence, we desire to have Krsna's separation from the Vrajavasis manifest in our hearts. We don't wish to have the Vrajavasis' separation from Krsna manifest in our hearts." The history of Sukadeva Gosvami was narrated at the start of the class from the Kesava-vrata book. Sukadeva Gosvami was the parrot of Srimati Radhika, who heard harikatha (incognito)from Siva Thakura. Enraged, Siva Thakura, chased Suka, but he entered Vitika's mouth (Vyasadeva's wife). Vyasadeva then pacified Siva Thakura. The pastime of Suka flying to Nandagram from Varsana was also told. There, he was returned to Srimati Radhika, after Yasoda Maiya heard the requests of Lalita and Visakha. Prabhuji then started speaking on the seventeenth chapter of the eleventh canto of Srimad Bhagavatam. In this chapter, Krsna continued describing His opulences to Uddhava.

Similarly, the Lord also acts as a pivot in our sadhana, and cleanses us of all anarthas that surface. He thus makes us qualified to practice bhakti. After the Kesava-vrata narration, Prabhuji started explaining the sixteenth chapter of the eleventh canto. He explained the different opulences of Krsna that the Lord Himself described to Uddhava.

The history of Sri Garudadeva was told in this narration from the Kesava-vrata book. The history of how he procured the pot of nectar and where he rested was told. The history of Garuda becoming the cowherd boy Sridhama was especially emphasized on. Thus, Sridhama and Krsna became known as Garuda-Govinda in Vraja when Sridhama would carry Krsna on his shoulders. Abhirama Prabhu then spoke briefly about the color of anuraga. Prabhuji then started explaining the sixteenth chapter of the eleventh canto of Srimad Bhagavatam. He spoke on how a sadhu is an uncompromising doctor who will remove the boil of anarthas from the sadhakas. Thus, he performs the priceless task of removing the anarthas and purifying the sadhakas' heart. He then fills the hearts of the sadhakas with Vraja-rasa.

She was then also called Girija. Siva Thakura told her, "Since your father is a pure devotee, you also have his qualities. Now, you need only listen to the glorification of Sriman Caitanya Mahaprabhu's name, form, qualities, and pastimes." At the start of the class, a chapter from the Kesava-vrata book was read. During this month, Visakha Devi became the Siksa Guru of Sri Krsna and taught Him the art of serving Srimati Radhika. Therefore, Kesavadeva Himself became a disciple of the Vraja Devis during this month. Prabhuji then finished the fifteenth chapter of the Srimad Bhagavatam Canto 11. He started explaining from the twenty-seventh verse. Prabhuji spoke on how mystic perfections will not make Krsna appear in our hearts; rather, they will distance us from Him. Therefore, the devotees never aspire for any of these perfections. Krsna Himself warned Sri Uddhava about this.

English translation of Prabhuji's Hindi class. Prabhuji spoke on the pastime where Krsna planted pearls and nourished them with milk, ghee, and butter. In a couple of days, many pearl yielding trees grew and Krsna used their pearls to decorate all His cows. And then, an amusing dialog followed between Krsna and the gopis. Thus, we were told on how Krsna loves the cows so much. It is imperative for a sadhaka to develop respect and a tendency to serve the cows.
