Today is Rama-navami, the appearance day of Sri Ramacandra. Prabhuji spoken on the early life of Maharaja Dasharatha. He spoke on how Maharaja Dasharatha was told by a sage that the quadruple expansion will appear as his sons. The history of Dasharatha Maharaja accidentally killing Sravana Kumara was told. The history of Samruddha Maharaja (who would eat his own body) was then told. This history was especially related to how Sravana Kumara's intelligence became contaminated when he came to a place with his aged, blind parents. Many pastimes were then told. We were told that Sri Ramacandra's pastimes will be spoken in the evening class.

Prabhuji had Krsna-karunya Prabhu speak from the book, "Kesava-vrata." A narration of Brahma becoming the recipient of Sri Kesavadeva's mercy was told.

Prabhuji spoke on verse - 11 of chapter - 11 from the eleventh canto of Srimad Bhagavatam. At the end of the class, we were told on the importance of observing Rama-Navami (the appearance day of Sri Ramacandra).

Today is the first day of Sri Kesava-vrata. Prabhuji began speaking after finishing the morning abhiseka of Salagrama-sila and Giriraja-Govardhana. Prabhuji spoke on verse - 35, chapter 10, of the eleventh canto of Srimad Bhagavatam. An exposition of the glories of Sri Kesava-vrata was given after the class on Srimad Bhagavatam.

Prabhuji had Krsna-karunya Prabhu read from a newly compiled book called, "Kesava-vrata."

Hindi Hari-katha. Prabhuji speaks on how glorious Sri Kesava-vrata is. He explains that Krsna Himself became a follower of Srimati Visakha Devi to serve Srimati Radhika better. Therefore, Kesavadeva takes it upon Himself to take shelter of the Vraja Devis (the shelter of Srimati Radhika especially)during this month.

Hindi Hari-katha. Today is the appearance day of Sri Ramanujacarya. Therefore, Prabhuji spoke on his glories. He related how Sita Devi was very sad because of having doubted Laksmana when Marici came in the form of a golden deer. Therefore, Sita Devi (Laksmi Devi) desired that the younger brother of Sri Ramacandra again appear in this world and preach suddha-bhakti. Prabhuji then speaks on many pastimes of Sri Ramanujacarya.
