Ben Delay opens this weeks edition of UNG with his disco-infused 'Freedom', Niels Schroder & Jasper Drexhage a.k.a. Dutchican Soul prove that Holland does have soul with their great garage/soulful house production "Fallen For You", featuring Princess Freesia on vocals. Rob Hayes did a fantastic remix job on Bruno Kauffmann's 'Higher' and Ross Couch released the Back And Forth EP from which we selected the piano-driven 'Heartbreak In Havana' for the show.
DJ Fopp remixed Max Marotto's 'Piano House' and I assume this is the same DJ Fopp that was responsible for the 1990 Italo house classic 'What You're Gonna Do'. This weeks classic is from Italy as well: 'Chains' by Mimmo Mix. Produced by one of the Italo House masters Pieradis Rossini. 'Chains' was released in 1990 but it still sounds so fresh 26 years later.
Other tracks that I should mention are Fizzikx' latest release on Pogo House called 'Underground Skool', Eric Kupper's remix of 'All Of Me' by Danism & Arnold Jarvis, Jordan Grover's (JT) remix of Mike Granacki's 'Groovin', 'Awake' by State Unknown feat. Luke Towler, Daweird's 'Imajinew', The Adam Hyjek remix of 'The Groove' by Bronx Cheer (thnx Steve Watts for playing this), and still full support for Wayne Dudley and Phil Maher a.k.a. Rhythm 4 Reason. I absolutely love their 'Rock The Beat'.
