In Ephesians 1:1–14, the Apostle Paul opens his letter by greeting the believers in Ephesus and praising God for the spiritual blessings given to Christians through Christ. Paul emphasizes that God chose believers before the foundation of the world to be holy and blameless, and He predestined them for adoption as His children through Jesus. This was done according to God's will and for His glory.
