DJ MzTrix is a soulful House DJ Based in London, known for her passion and talent in the genre. With over 14 years of experience, she has become a prominent figure in the music scene , hosting her own radio show “House Journey” on Deeplomatikk Radio and promoting her event brand “House Sensation” . MzTrix also hosts her brand “Just House Just Beats Streams” via Mixcloud.  MzTrix’s dedication to Soulful House music has made her a beloved DJ, inspiring aspiring DJs and representing diversity in the industry. Her mixes and live recordings on platform like Mixcloud, YouTube have garnered a loyal following, solidifying her reputation as a leading Soulful House DJ.

More about Kevin: Since the mid 90’s Kevin has been a major player in the southeast house music scene. Under the moniker Special K from 96 until 2003, Kevin could be seen weekly playing at raves and clubs throughout the mid west and southeast while holding down two of the most successful underground dance music nights in southern dance music history The Underground and The Boiler Room with Dj Slink in Knoxville Tn. 

By the turn of the century Kevin was a founding member of Atlanta’s 4Deep crew whose legendary Connect parties kept house music alive and well in Atlanta during the first decade of the new century and their years as resident djs at Lava in mid townhelped expand the popularity of house music in Atlanta. 

Since 2009, Kevin has been back in Knoxville throwing frequent events with his crew under the Art of House moniker bringing some of the biggest names in house music to the city.

 The Art of House crew has now expanded throwing events in other cities with chapters in Asheville Nc, Charlotte Nc, and Ireland. 

Today while still heavily involved with throwing Art of House events, Kevin continues to play select dates across the country and also produces music under his own name and The Art of House moniker. You can find Kevin’s music on all major music sites

When considering the musical inspiration & working pallette of Drm Peopls, your mind & body literally has to take a journey to those very places that have randomly pollinated the spirit of his work.

The music is a personal embodiment of random time, place, & circumstance of existence that creates the rich fabric that assimilates into the multi cultural tapestry and experience interweaving the entire expression; it reflects the maker.

Growing up in a multi ethnic military family upbringing brought together variance in everything.

Drawing inspiration from youth skate culture where everything is an aesthetical potluck of sorts, you can feel the pull of everything from a an arty indie dance number running around some basement hip hop cut touching hands with latin jazz pulsing on the rhythm of deep house with the raw and unabashed emotion of anarcho punk; the tool bag pulls from everything because there has been many roads to build.

With Drm Peopls, there is a heavy concentration on the rythym whether it be straight forward or syncopated, it's the drum that creates the pulse and the people are the movement it follows.
