Sweat Your Assets is a financial education platform built on one idea: anyone can learn to manage money wisely, build wealth steadily, and make decisions that hold up over time.
The podcast is one piece of a larger sandbox — alongside a blog, YouTube channel, and monthly newsletter. Everything comes from what I read, test, and apply about money, investing, and financial freedom.
No sponsorships. No shortcuts. Just honest, evidence-based thinking.
Each episode covers what actually matters: financial mindset, money psychology, investing principles, building income, and avoiding the traps that keep people broke.
The conversations the mainstream media rarely has, because they don't sell.
If you want to think more clearly about money, you're in the right place.

Welcome to a New Financial Diary series of the Sweat Your Assets podcast.
In this episode 18, Ana and Sem - hosts of Sweat your Assets Podcast - comment ECB President Lagarde envisage to boost Innovation and Investments in Europe. The analysis is based on Alessandro Baroni´s Sweat Your Assets Post.
On December 4 2024, the President of the European Central Bank published an article in the Economist highlighting some differences in saving and investing practices between Europe and the US while showing a road map for improvement. I´ve found Christine Lagarde’s analysis truly educational for any Investor wondering where to allocate savings and investments. It shows the crucial role of alternative investment (private equity and venture capital) and what to expect from the European market in the coming decades.

Welcome to a New Financial Diary series of the Sweat Your Assets podcast.
In this episode 17, we look into How Wealth is distributed, accumulated and invested across different Asset Classes.
On your journey to financial freedom, you will accumulate, protect, and grow wealth by investing across multiple asset classes. While financial analysis of individual assets is widely available, visualizing and quantifying global wealth across assets is far more challenging due to a lack of consolidated data.
Looking at your Net Worth, which asset classes compose your investment portfolio? Resident Real Estate? Public Equities? Gold? Crypto?
Each asset class plays a distinct role in an investment portfolio, depending on your strategy and risk profile. While portfolio construction is beyond today’s scope – I covered that topic in My Personal Asset Allocation – having a clear understanding of global wealth markets—and the alternatives available—provides essential context for informed decision-making.
Gaining a bird’s-eye view of the global market by asset class is like adding a map to your financial journey—an invaluable tool for navigating and managing diversified portfolios across multiple asset classes.

Hello and welcome to "Sweat Your Assets," the podcast that helps you navigate the world of finance.
In this episode 16, we're tackling a topic that's both intriguing and often a source of frustration: market predictions. We’re constantly bombarded with forecasts about the stock market and interest rates, but just how reliable are they? Let's dive in and find out !
We will argue how forecasts can be part of a helpful learning process about market cycles, economic dynamics, historical trends, human sentiment, and statistics.
Rather than relying solely on forecasts for investment inspiration, we should build resilient portfolios that can withstand various scenarios based on our unique financial needs and risk-reward profile.
You can access the Sweat Your Assets Post, with its data and graph at: https://sweatyourassets.biz/why-market-predictions-fail-and-that-is-ok/
Enjoy the episode, hosted by Sem and Ana.

In today´s episode of Sweat Your Assets, we will hear an extract of the Roger Federer´s commencement speech at Dartmouth University in 2024, where he distills 3 lessons for life.
Federer is not only a fantastic champion celebrated for his graceful playing style, exceptional sportsmanship, and longevity at the highest level of the sport. Federer's influence extends beyond the tennis court; he is known for his philanthropic efforts and for being a global ambassador for the sport. He is also soft spoken and humble leader. In 2022, Federer announced his retirement from professional tennis, leaving behind an extraordinary legacy as a player, role model, and humanitarian.
In today´s speech he is clearly very excited, and emotional in addressing his classmates of 2024.
Enjoy it.

Welcome to Sweat Your Assets, a podcast boosted with practical wisdom to help you master your personal and financial growth.
I’m Alessandro Baroni, and in today’s episode number 13, I will talk about Charlie Munger, and share my favorite Charlie’s quotes of all times!
Charlie Munger died on November 28, 2023, at age 99. He’s the lesser-known half of the team that built Berkshire Hathaway. Still, he was the most colorful of the pair.
Thanks to his witty, no-BS comments, it is always a treat to read or listen to Charlie’s interviews. For sure, there will be times, when we will ask ourselves: what would Charlie have said about it?
Despite his financial success, It might be Munger’s multidisciplinary mindset that offers the greatest lesson. He dedicated his life to learning and improving one day at a time — compounding wisdom. And he generously shared so much of it over the years. He was a teacher, above all else, for anyone open to learning.
His articles and speeches are pretty long and dense. Still, it is possible to isolate brilliant thoughts that summarize his humor and cunning spirit. Check out a collection of my favorite Charlie’s quotes of all time.
Enjoy the Episode!

I’m Alessandro Baroni, and in today’s episode number 11, I share a timeless speech of Charlie Munger at his best!
The lecture – given at Harvard University back in 1995, is known as the "25 Cognitive Biases".
It covers Munger's mindset on decision-making and analysis. I am sure you will find these notions extremely valuable, not only in Investing but in any human endeavor.
Enjoy!

I’m Alessandro Baroni, and in today’s episode number 10, I look at Kipling’s timeless poem — an exquisite but powerful call to stand apart and build a strong mindset: the foundation for your personal and financial growth.
English actor Michael Caine reads the poem. In an interview, he mentioned it is one of his favorite poems. I hope it becomes one of your favorites, too.

Most of us never got a real financial education. We were left to figure out money on our own — usually the expensive way. We can fix that.
Sweat Your Assets is a financial education platform…
The podcast is one piece of a larger sandbox. Alongside it, you'll find a blog, a YouTube channel, and a monthly newsletter — all part of the same ongoing experiment. Everything published there, and here, comes from what I read, test, apply, and learn about money, investing, and financial freedom.
No sponsorships driving the agenda. No get-rich-quick shortcuts. Just financial education for real life — evidence-based thinking, put through its paces before I share it with you.
Each episode covers a topic that matters: financial mindset, money psychology, investing principles, building income, and avoiding the traps that quietly keep people broke. The kind of conversations mainstream media and influencers rarely have — because they don't sell.
You are not separated from your goals by a number of years, but by a number of decisions.
