Lauren actually hates ketchup. She prefers buffalo ranch. Let's learn about more Lauren fun facts with our Get to Know episode about the better half of Sweatshirt Chronicles.
We're mixing it up a bit this week with a fun episode. Lauren drafted some crazy creative questions to ask me and to get to know me better. Simple as that. The next episode will include learning more about Lauren and then it will be back to our regularly scheduled programming! So without further ado, ladies and gentlemen, Leo.
We’re backkkkkk! After a much-needed break and off time, we are finally here to provide our unsolicited opinions for your entertainment. This week we sat down to talk about feminism. As a woman, this is something that I hold very dearly, and am proud of the progress that has been made and the doors that have been open for me. With that said, feminism hasn’t been sunshine and rainbows. There is a history of rooted racism and negative connotations. Join me and Leo as we walk through our thoughts on different women in government and talk shit about Susan B. Anthony. Welcome to the tea party - xoxo Lauren🤍
But actually, we are qualified this time cause we are both in our 20s and Lauren is in college and Leo is out of college. So there! Ha! We found something we are qualified for! In all seriousness, we wanted to bring you all this little podcast episode before the election. It can be an extremely stressful time right now and we thought it was important to share our advice on navigating college and your early 20s! Hopefully, in the future, Leo won't talk so much and we can keep these non-interview episodes shorter for everyone's sake. Now sit back, relax, forget the impending doom of the world, maybe have a cup of tea or a glass of wine and enjoy this episode.
We are back for another episode. This time it's all about mental health. We tried to cover a lot about mental health this week, trying to fit it under an hour, but luckily we had an expert to help us. Leo got the chance to interview the co-founder of L.E.A.D., Lauren Wilkins, which is one of the industry leader's in mental health education. And of course, we have our resources segment but you'll have to stay tuned for what those are. We also tried to sneak peek next week's topic and then couldn't find the list and Leo is still looking so stay tuned for that as well.
In the meantime...here are some things to check out:

We made it to Episode Two! That means we are bringing you more unqualified opinions but this week we are a bit more qualified than usual. Why? Because we are talking about the Earth, the place we all live, and what we need to do to make things better for everyone. While climate change can often be a polarizing topic, we hope to educate everyone listening about what is actually happening to nature and things we can do to fix it. In this episode, we cover the current state of emergency, environmental racism, The Green New Deal, Gen Z fighting back, and the facts versus the myths. As usual, throw on your favorite sweatshirt and join us!

Epidsode 1 was a long time in the making. Lauren and I are excited to bring you this podcast. We really don't care if five people listen to this, we just want to be able to express our opinions and values. So bundle up in a hoodie, grab a cup of tea, and play this through your headphones! This week we talk about the current state of affairs in America and how fighting for racial equality is not political but should be social. We also interview my long-time roommate and best friend El Hadj Seck (@el.hadj.seck on Insta) and discuss his experiences being a black man in America.
For those looking to check out the names we mentioned in the resource section, give these wonderful people a follow.
