Sweet Lobs

In this episode, Kevin and Skye sit down with Elaina from the Recreational Pickleball Players Association (RPPA) to explore the exciting app she’s created for pickleball players everywhere. Elaina shares her journey into pickleball, her biggest takeaways from PickleCon, and how the RPPA is shaping the future of recreational play.

And that’s not all—this week’s episode was “guest recorded” in Noblesville, IN, at the stunning new podcast studio inside this region’s Everbowl headquarters. It’s an inspiring conversation about innovation, community, and passion for the game we all love.

Sweet Lobs Season 2, Episode 12

This week, Kevin and Skye sit down with Chris from Pickle Up Pro (PUP) — the inventive mind behind a new pickleball product that instantly grabbed Kevin’s attention… and his wallet. Chris shares the story behind PUP, what inspired the design, and how it’s helping players step up their game.

Of course, Kevin and Skye can’t resist circling back to PickleCon during their conversation with Chris, who dishes on what he's still buzzing about, what they’ve been debating since the event, and whether PickleCon has set a new bar for pickleball gatherings going forward.  TLDR: It hasn’t!

Expect a mix of innovation, honest takes, and plenty of laughs as the duo keeps the pickleball conversation rolling.

Sweet Lobs – Season 2, Episode 11

In this episode, Kevin and Skye dive headfirst into their full review of PickleCon — one of the biggest pickleball gatherings of the year (?). From the moment they walked through the doors, they were met with the buzz of paddles popping, vendors hustling, and the smell of bbq in the air.

They share what impressed them most, including some innovative new products. But it’s not all dinks and drop shots — Kevin and Skye also give their honest takes on what could have been better, from layout flow to amenities. If you’ve ever thought about attending PickleCon, this episode will give you the inside scoop on whether it’s worth the trip.

And of course, it wouldn’t be Sweet Lobs without a few side tangents, laughs, and the occasional debate..
