In this episode we look at God's care for the church. We start off with looking at the church.  Who and what is the church? The beauty of the global church, as well as the local church. With the beauty of God's great design of the church, we then look at how God cares for the church with the giving of the office of elder. We take a look at the duties of elders as they humbly serve.

In this we look at the sermon on John 9, where Jesus heals the man born blind...and Jesus comes to him. The greatest need is spiritual sight. That the world would see God for who He is, and their desperate need for Jesus.

In this episode we explore deeper the 2nd sign in John 4:46-54. Here we see the official's son healed, which is miraculous in itself. The greater miracle that is here, is where we see the official cling to the Word of Jesus, not what Jesus can do. In that faith clinging to Christ the official believes, and also all his household. God performs His mighty acts so that people will know that He is Lord - we should expect that miracles draw our attention to those things that define His Lordship - His control, authority and presence.

As we look at the resurrection we see the hope we have to come and the hope we have now, because Jesus is our first-fruit. Jesus is the king who comes to fix everything and we see through Jesus the Great Reversal of death. With this reversal our unity with Christ is now, not later. This unity changes us and the way we see our community changes.

In this episode we will take time to build from the sermon preached on March 28 and look at the High Priestly prayer in John 17.  We will dive deep by briefly answering the questions, What is prayer and why do we pray and then look at the example of Jesus praying for Himself, the disciples and those who have yet to believe.
