Swing Shift with Ryan and Beau

This is a NASCAR podcast now. And video games and music and golf? At least they still exist. Baseball is gone forever. How many games make a season legit? It's not 48 but at least that's more than zero? A happy 50th anniversary to Dock Ellis and the trippiest game every played. The hype is real for The Last of Us 2, and it's more real for the HBO adaptation. Oh and we talk about the MLB draft for a minute.

Ryan and Beau got sick of waiting for the baseball season to get figured out, so they take some time to yell at everyone. If you're not on the side of the players, then you're on the side of the billionaire owners (which makes you an idiot). Alex Bregman is whining about something completely different and he deserves to be made fun of for it. The Snyder cut has been released as annoying people to get their way. Plus, Ryan and Beau try to figure out what this podcast will be about now since baseball is soon to be dead forever.

For at least this episode, Ryan and Beau are now the "swing boys." There's a new proposal to start the baseball season and it might actually happen. Bring on the universal DH. Should we care that Yasiel Puig is about to be a Giant? A 2020 World Series ring will be just as legit as any other one. Yes, we watch football too, and the Packers got really weird with the draft. Plus, Tom DeLonge is saving the world from aliens, but will he ever save blink-182? 

Ryan and Beau discuss the baseball season that isn't happening. The Dodgers can finally be on your TV! In July. Maybe. We're not buying the Dodgers having an issue at catcher. Can't play a neutral site World Series if it's at Dodger Stadium, and the Hall of Fame is stupid. Plus, rage quitting video games, a dog leads cops on a high speed chase, a bit of trolling, and what would you do if you met OJ Simpson?
