In this episode, we talk about all things dating. The theme of this conversation comes down to being vulnerable and respecting your partner. We talk about insecurities, Instagram, dating apps, friends of the opposite sex, and whether or not it matters when you decide to have sex with someone new. If you take anything away from this episode I hope that it's to never settle and to always be open and honest. You never know who's waiting right around the corner for you.
On this episode of Swiping Sunday, I sit down with Milena Stancati, a woman who seems to have it all. And while she is an incredibly independent successful woman, she admits to us the struggles she's dealt with in love, career, and travel. But, also proves that she'll never stop going for it all. Milena has traveled all over the world on a trip called Remote Year, where she took her job on the road and woke up in a new city every week. She put relationships on hold and has referred to herself as the modern-day girl from 27 Dresses, but she knows what she brings to the table and she is not going to give up on love any time soon. Listen to this episode if you need a reminder of the strength in being alone and the many surprises that we can experience on the way to our goals.
In this episode, Paul Pironi joins Swiping Sunday. We talk about everything from refusing to use dating apps, losing weight to change your life, and the heartache of losing a parent.
I sit down with my friends, Trudy Evans and Jordan Greene, to open up about the heartache amongst the black community which we've all become more aware of recently. We have a necessary conversation about the history and reality of black lives in hopes to inspire us to all work and educate ourselves to be better allies against racism. Because this is such a sensitive topic and I want to ensure that this is impactful, I've structured this episode differently than most, but hopefully, it can help, even one person, see a new perspective and ignite the change we need.

My sister and I might have had a drink or two and forgot we were recording at times throughout this episode. I debated not publishing it after realizing we both went on some unexpected rants while in the moment, but if I want to use this platform to connect, I think this is exactly what I’m supposed to be sharing. We talk about everything from giving birth to being scared of death, divorce and depression, childhood triggers, and having rough patches in our friendship, how different we are as sisters, and most importantly, how she does it all as a young independent mom.
In this episode, I virtually sit down with my cousin Frankie and try to get deep while we're stuck in our childhood bedrooms as adults again during quarantine. We talk about everything from his adoption of the "keto guido" nickname, dating apps and how they work in college, COVID-19, finding friends, and finding yourself amidst the pressure of finding a major in college.
Every Sunday I hope to share, deepen, or create a connection through this podcast while creating a community with all of you. Because genuine human connection is the most valuable thing in life and I think our generation needs some more of it. It's easy to skate through life with surface-level relationships, and some people are fine with that, but I'm not. I feed off of other people's energy, I thrive when I'm in healthy relationships, I love talking about the things that really matter in life, and I want to do something with my life that actually brings me fulfillment. So, I hope that you can relate and participate while I start this chapter of my life and share it with you. Maybe together we'll find the perfect prescription, or connection, to defeating the dread of our impending return to reality and find a way to feel all the feels beyond just the weekends, I'm here to cancel the Sunday Scaries.
