Scott Hatt, our American Soccer Coach is joined in the studio by Yaqing - Superstar Player from the MS Girls Soccer team.

Both of them were in great form as their respective teams were triumphant this week with Yaqing telling us about their epic 6-5 victory over QSI Shenzhen and Scott telling us about the boys teams excellent victories yesterday.

As always, Athletics Director, JoshUA Youngman was present keeping an eagle eye over his coaches and players and even adding a word or two when they both forgot the name of the coach of the girl's football team! Sorry Dan!

Yaqing and Dan both encouraged more students, teachers and parents to attend the games and maybe Malcolm in Music will be in attendance at the next game with some musicians/drums/trumpets to raise the atmosphere!

Josh may even volunteer to become the official SWIS ROCS Team Mascot.

Let's hope the teams continue to do well and bring Silverware - or trophies as Scott calls it - back to SWIS IN 2018/2019.

We were honored this morning to have in the SWIS Makerspace Nemanja Topovic, the Superstar Coach from Serbia hoping to lead our soccer teams to glory this year on the green fields of China.

He was joined by Devon Moore - High School Volleyball Coach.

During the podcast Devon confirmed live on air that his father Ronald Moore (co-coach) is much more fun than him! We knew this already, of course.

The boys are very optimistic about the upcoming season and the Athletics Director has already given them a vote of confidence and expects to see them deliver silverware to SWIS.

This week on SWIS ROC Radio we are entertained by the Milhollands; two new and very interesting and amusing members of the SWIS Staff.

Mori who was born in Israel to American parents moved to the US when she was 14 and has lived in Paris, Brazil, Costa Rica, Australia and now China.

Well Greg is from Australia and used to support Carlton but has changed colors to Western Bulldogs. This doesn't sit well with unnamed members of the Drama department! We'll leave it at that! It's all on the show.

They tell us about their smooth transition to life in China, their professional background, and goals for the year.

It's a very informative podcast.

The returning Majella Dowling just fresh off the boat from Ireland is joined in the SWIS Makerspace by Amanda Shepherd and Kelly Mc Bride who are new members of the SWIS Staff.

Amanda and Kelly discuss their transition to life in China and their aspirations for the new year as well as professional growth goals.

Summer Holidays are discussed - including a very funny incident involved a lada and a mountain!

This is a very light hearted first podcast to the school year and is a good way for people to learn a little bit more about each other.
