Switch it Up

Oh hey guys, another dry we...(Pokemon encounter music starts playing)..! Oh my goodness, a wild Nintendo Direct! That's right baby, we had a real Direct and it was glorious, albeit Twitters thoughts. Pyra and Mythra in Smash is cool, Mario is on the links again, Skyward Sword HD is $60, and Splatoon 3! Twitter also has been debating Mario 3D World + Bowsers Fury vs Mario Odyssey and we decided to as well (Spoiler: They are both good!). And finally, Happy 35th Anniversary to the Legend of Zelda series. Nintendo didn't acknowledge you, but we sure will! Thank you for all the memories you have provided people with around the world. Here's to many more amazing entries!

From this day forward, Mario is tolerating 0% of the Bowser family shenanigans. Bowsers Fury is an incredible 3D Mario experience and is worth the go for old and new players. Nintendo freshened up some trademarks on old Zelda titles which leads us to believe a 3D Collection is on the horizon (yuck). Post Malone is the main event for a Pokemon virtual concert and he cost so much that they won't be making anymore Pokemon games, or good ones at least. We finished with an incredibly unprepared conversation about best video game men and women.

Monster Hunter rep, Paper Mario, Master Chief, (gulp) Jonesy, the options really are endless for Sakurai and the gang. Breath of the Wild 2 rumors suggest a Q2 release and we tell you why you shouldn't believe it. Netflix mentioned a live action Zelda series and Nintendo heads sunk that ship instantly, along with claymation Starfox. But hey, Sonic Prime! We were a little low on content this week, so we dove into some Marvel TV shows conversation.

And 79.87 million people agree. Wandavision is awesome and normies don't like it. Bowsers Fury takes 6 hours to beat but it'll be a fun 6 hours. Festivale hits Animal Crossing: New Horizons and all we know is that a giant peacock is hosting it so that's pretty cool. Q1 for Nintendos Financial year draws to a close and we get an updated look at hardware and software numbers. Also, people are saying Smash Ultimate underachieved....ha. Finally, what is the best gateway game to introduce a gaming rookie to gaming?

It's been one year since Byleth in Smash (#HoesMad) so we discussed how many representatives should Fire Emblem have and who would we cut. Bowser is on steroids and we kept mistaking Sunshine for Odyssey (sorry Sunshine fans). New Pokemon Snap looks amazing and it will be the game that gets Nintendo out of bankruptcy, as Tyler put it. Pokemon Diamond and Pearl remake rumors are a blaze which leads us to believe they won't actually happen. To close we told you why Chikorita is actually the best starter. Also, wouldn't Lets Go Sinnoh be funny?
