This is the core teaching of Jesus that Boyd bases all of his seminars on. When facing demonic forces, it is especially important to be in a position of complete surrender and repentance of your own strength. It is also the key to dealing with demonic oppression; as long as the enemy still has you holding onto the "fun" part of your sin, you will be at his mercy.
