Representatives of the Southwest West Central (SWWC) Service Cooperative met with the Pipestone Area School (PAS) Board during a special April 9 meeting and spent about two hours providing information and answering questions about the Alternative Learning Center (ALC) SWWC operates in Pipestone. The visit followed backlash after the school district notified parents of ALC students earlier this year that students graduating from the ALC would not be allowed to participate in the traditional graduation ceremony at the high school.
