CHALLENGE: Watch the 2019 Zizek/Peterson debate on Communism, Capitalism, and Happiness.

To explore the concept of Existential Intelligence, we invited Matt McManus to discuss the 2019 Peterson/Zizek debate on Communism, Capitalism, and Happiness. Matt's a self-described Liberal Democratic Socialist and a political science lecturer at the University of Michigan. He's also the author/editor of several books including The Emergence of Postmodernity, and the Politics of Reaction.

This week Brett and I invited one of my favorite skaters Cece AKA Skate Fantacee to talk about kinesthetic or bodily intelligence.

CHALLENGE: Write a 500-word essay describing verbal intelligence.

To explore the concept of linguistic intelligence we invited a 24-year-old Hyperpolyglot Gigachad known as Language Simp to talk about word smarts. Our guest simps for over 50 languages on his YouTube and TikTok channels where he’s amassed nearly 2 million viewers and probably double the number of haters.

CHALLENGE: Compose an original piece of music.

We invited grammy nominated bassist Zachariah Witcher to help us explore the concept of musical intelligence. Zach is a performance artist which means he spends most of his time on tour with various artists, but when he’s not touring, writing, or recording, he’s helping other musicians coordinate and design live shows through his company Off Brand Entertainment.

CHALLENGE: Record your feelings and the surrounding context 3x/day for the next week.

This week’s Intrapersonal Intelligence challenge was to record our feelings 3x/day for a week. To help us assess our Intrapersonal intelligence, Natasha and Brett brought in Collen Star Koch, founder of Rowan Coaching. Colleen is a friend of a friend who helped Natasha start down the path that led her to podcasting.

CHALLENGE: Create an original work of visual art.

We invited artist and comedian Cas3y White to help explore the idea of evaluating subjective qualities of art. Casey loves injecting a bit of science into his art to make all kinds of monsters, just like the one he created when he told Brett he loved his painting.

CHALLENGE: What question is its own answer?

Brett and Natasha yuck it up with data scientist Noah Healy to discuss computing, economics, and mathematical intelligence. Noah created a technology that could potentially eliminate commodity transaction costs, but shares why communicating his ideas are a challenge. You don’t want to miss this one!

CHALLENGE: Teach people on the street about Multiple Intelligences and have them fill out this survey.

Brett and Natasha take to the streets to teach people about the Theory of Multiple Intelligences and they ask TikTok Teaching Sensation Emily Pool to share secrets about her success as a teacher and social media star. They discuss interpersonal skills, the K-12 educational system, small groups, generational cultures, and experiential learning.

This week’s challenge was to spend 4 hours out in nature recording our observations. Naturalist Pete Cooper will assess Brett and Natasha's “Naturalistic Intelligence”.
