Sylvie Simmons has been writing about music since the 1970s. She's covered all of the legendary names and written biographies of everyone from Johnny Cash to Mötley Crüe.

Then, in 2014, Sylvie took the risky move of releasing an album of her own.

The risk paid off and the album was a success. Now she's back with the follow-up, Blue on Blue.
