Silas convalesces while resuming his translation work, now the most critical part of VINCULA's Breach project. The rest of the Breachers attempt to brute force the problem, and a feeling of hopelessness creeps in on them. Alyx reveals a surprise she's been working on which may give the Breachers more information regarding VINCULA and how far they will go to see their mission accomplished.
