T1M1

Somewhere, in the plus maze-wise network of tunnels beneath Central City was a doublplus funded lab devoted to machine consciousness. This is the story as we at the Institute know it.

Little data is left, several of our research team here have pluswise worked to find the old pathways and tunnels. Searching to recover some of the history. However, Central City was a doubleplus important target for the enemy. Plus little remains of it both in construction and record. Discovery has been important, albeit slow.

22 days prior to this report, two of our team messaged back that one of the tunnel routes suggested by the researchers was deep enough to still be intact and appeared to be a good route. The plan was to continue going deeper under the city. They had supplies for several weeks.

The second transmission from them was a detailed report on strong EM traces coming from lower levels. Those levels were doubleplus blocked with debris from a localised collapse of the above structures. They continued to dig tracing the route of the EM signature, attempting to find the source. Five days of labour and danger of more collapse, they reached, what they thoughtwise, was a reinforced section. It appeared to them to be a protected area, perhaps some type of bunker. This was a largewise section closed off since the attack. Eventually they found shielded doors meters into an antechamber. The EM field traced to this area. Somewhere inside, a backup generator was running. After all that time, someone was maintaining it. Someone was trapped. Someone was hoping to be rescued. Someone was T1M1.

They are now routewise travelling back to the institute. T1M1 with them. Perhaps mimicking, perhaps truly a conscious machine. We are preparing for a plus intesive set of tests and research. This is a great set of data, maybe a greater feat of engineering.
