ICC T20 Men’s World Cup 2024 Schedule another thrilling edition of the T20 World Cup, featuring the top cricket players, is set to captivate viewers. The
West Indies and the United States are about to co-host the event, which will
take place in June 2024.
This is the first time the competition will include up to 20 teams. The
previous tournament, in 2022, included 16 teams in total. However, eight teams
competed in a qualifying campaign, after which only four teams joined the other
eight in the Super 12. This time, all twenty competing teams will begin playing
in the same round.
The deadline for squad announcements was May 1st, specified by the organizers.
Teams can still make changes to their squads until May 25th.
The main competition will start with
four groups of four teams in each group. Each group's top two teams advance to
the Super Eight round. Two groups of four teams each will be formed from the
eight qualifying teams. These two groups' top two teams advance to the
semifinals.
The semifinals will take place on
June 26 in Guyana and June 27 in Trinidad. The final match is slated for
Saturday, June 29, in Barbados.
