  • Project 70 Show Ep. 4: Recapping the First Wave of Print Runs & The First Three Cards of Week #2 (02/22/21)

Today we had cards 10 - 12 release and included in that is one of Project 2020's most beloved artists, Blake Jamieson. Today is also the debut for not only Lauren Taylor but The Shoe Surgeon. I also recap the print runs from the first nine cards, talk about one card that potentially might have underperformed and I also bring back a very popular segment from my old Project 2020 Show! Also, thank you to Blake Jamieson with a huge assist on this episode!

The beginning of the modern day monster is here as we have now seen the first three cards of this 1,020 card set we are calling Project 70. Up first is Ben Baller, Ermsy and DJ Skee. While this looks like just another Project 2020 clone, it is far from it. But whether this set is a success or a failure will all depend on how these three cards did!

In just two short days we will see the very first cards in Project 70 and be off to the races in 2021! This set will be a whopping 1,020 cards and how can anyone properly game plan this set to that they are here at the end? In today's video I recap who I am looking forward to the most in this set along with some early brainstorming on video content and how I would be approaching this set as a collector and or potential "investor."

  • Project 2020 Show Ep. 146: Is Project 70 the Modern Day "Monster" (02/03/21)

We are now just two weeks (we think), away from the release of Project 70. The sister product of Project 2020. But when you think about what this set has to offer how does it relate the the original T206 set and is this the modern day "Monster" set? I also talk about the current market in Project 2020 and why I might be taking another look at those framed artist prints!

  • Project 2020 Show Ep. 145: My First Thoughts on Topps Project 70 in Relation to Project 2020 (01/21/21)

In today's video I recap the current state of Project 2020 but more importantly I talk about the recent news around Topps new release called Project 70, set to release next month. In my mind Project 2020 was successful for two reasons and I take a look at those two things and see if they can also be accomplished in Project 70! Exciting times ahead for the art world and baseball cards.

  • Project 2020 Nightly News Ep. 141: Did Keith Shore Just Break Project 2020 For a Second Time?

On the second to last day in Project 2020, we say goodbye to three more players and two artists, Ben Baller and Keith Shore. There has not been a more polarizing artist in the set than Ben Baller and some will say that is a good thing, others will say that is a bad thing. Also, with the release of Nolan Ryan by Keith Shore, did he just inadvertently break the set like his Griffey did a few short months ago? That and more in tonight's episode.

About T206 Polar Bear Chronicles By Chris Torres

From the publisher's feed

Are you a collector of T206 cards or just want to learn more about them? This is the podcast series for you as I will guide you through an in-depth look at my favorite tobacco advertisement back of the entire 520 card set, the Polar Bear back! One great thing about the Polar Bear back run set is that the set is only 250 cards instead of the 520 that are required to complete The Monster. Come along and learn why I love Polar Bear so much.
