Meet our newest Ironman 70.3 finisher 🙌
Kirsty sat down in the T2FIT Talks hot seat to share her story 👏
A few weeks ago, she completed her first ever Ironman 70.3. That’s a 1.9km swim, 90km bike and 21.1km run! 🏊♀️🚴♀️🏃♀️
She talked us through it all: her training, the challenges along the way, and race day itself. 💪
Kirsty started her journey with no idea what she was capable of. In just a short amount of time, she showed how much is possible. 🚀
This episode is a powerful reminder that you never know what you can do until you try. 🌟
We’re so proud of Kirsty and can’t wait to see what she does next!
That’s exactly what Alexis shared when she sat down on the T2FIT Talks podcast👏
In July 2023, Alexis was involved in a motorbike crash that left her with soft tissue damage and every tendon and ligament ruined in her ankle, plus a hole in her knee. For an entire year, she relied on a walking aid or crutch. Her recovery was long, slow, and challenging but in summer 2024, she woke up knowing she wanted to make a change. 🚀
She knew she needed the right support for her injuries, and T2FIT ticked every box for her.
Her story is truly inspiring, and her mindset on life after everything she’s been through is nothing short of incredible. 🙌
Alexis is full of life, loves adventure and shared a powerful message, pushing through the fear of doing something new, even after injury, because life is simply too short not to have fun. 🌟
We’re so proud to share stories like this and highlight the strength, resilience, and energy our members bring every day.
In this episode, JT sits down with Ben to unpack the truth about caffeine, diving into whether it’s the secret ingredient to better performance or a hidden obstacle slowing your recovery.
Caffeine is everywhere in the fitness world: pre-workouts, energy drinks, coffee before training. But is it really helping, or could it be masking fatigue, impacting your sleep, and stalling your results?
JT and Ben weigh up both sides—exploring the potential performance benefits while digging into the downsides most people overlook. They talk about how caffeine affects recovery, why more isn’t always better, and what role it should play in your training routine.
Whether you rely on a morning coffee to kickstart your day or are questioning if you need to cut back, this episode gives you the clarity to make smarter choices for your body and your goals.
In this episode, Coach Amy & Dillon dive deep into the mindset shifts needed to take on big challenges—especially when you don’t feel ready.
They unpack the common fears that stop people from stepping up—things like “I’m not fit enough,” “I’m too old,” or “I’ll probably fail”—and reveal how these beliefs are often just mental roadblocks, not reality.
Drawing from their own experiences completing countless fitness events, Amy and Dillon explore how fear of failure, comparison, and physical limitations can hold you back… and why the real game-changer is starting before you feel 100% ready.
Whether you’ve been putting off signing up for a challenge, doubting your ability to follow through, or waiting for the “perfect time”—this episode will help you reframe what readiness really means.
In this episode, James Taylor is joined by Luke Turner to break down how to approach your summer fitness goals the right way—with strategies that actually stick.
Every year, as the sun comes out, the rush begins. People start cutting carbs, slashing calories, and cranking up the cardio… but often end up frustrated, burnt out, or stuck in a cycle that’s impossible to maintain.
Luke and JT tackle that head-on—sharing 5 core strategies that go beyond the seasonal panic and focus on sustainable results, smart training, and long-term success.
They talk about why “last-minute” plans usually fail, how to shift your mindset from punishment to purpose, and what it really means to build a routine that fits your life all year round.
Whether you’re starting from scratch or looking to level up your results, this episode will help you ditch the quick fixes and build habits that last.

In this episode, James Taylor sits down with Amy Short to talk about her incredible transformation—one that goes far beyond weight loss.
At 28, Amy hit 20 stone and knew she had to make a change. With a past filled with yo-yo diets, a negative relationship with food, and seeing exercise only as punishment, she was ready to rewrite her story. Fast forward to now: Amy’s dropped six stone, discovered a love for weightlifting, and completed 12 fitness challenges in 12 months.
Her drive? Proving to herself just how much she’s capable of. 🔥
Inspired by her dad, who battled Alzheimer’s, Amy shifted her focus toward health, longevity, and mindset. Through injury setbacks, COVID, and even the heartbreaking loss of her dad, she kept showing up. She learned discipline, resilience, and that movement is a privilege—and it’s not just about how you look, but what your body can do.
Amy talks about overcoming self-doubt, finding her tribe, and how the biggest wins often happen outside the gym. This is a story of mindset, community, and becoming the strongest version of yourself—inside and out.
