  • Raving At Ravenscourt Park – Episode 013 – Tube Train Tear-up

Holy fuck nuggets! It’s been 4 years! We’re back. This vibe was legit captured 100% on the London Transport System and I was bubblin’ all the way. I spent this weekend in the Emerald Isle consuming way too much whiskey for my liking. So this is your morphine to keep you dosed between shots of the hot stuff. Hope you likey likey.

      Waddup people!

I’m still hanging out with my wang out in the sun. Couldn’t leave you high and dry though with no mix! Especially as you’re going back to work after a peaceful Bank Holiday break (hold tight Zombie Jesus).

Here’s a little sumpin’ sumpin’ I threw together the day before I left. 100% fresh UKG. Got a nice little vibe to it. Should keep you occupied till I’m back on radio.

      Enjoy!

      • Bass On The Bakerloo Line – Episode 011 – Tube Train Tear-up

Another week, another imaginary session of my own tube rave in my head. This time around, the imaginary ravers are going crazy to all sorts. I thought I’d bring MJ Cole out for a play as I’ve not colluded with him much recently and he used to be my fav.

Lots of other beats from people like Grades, Zed Bias, Club Asylum, TS7 and other charming chaps.

Just remember to be careful who you buss your gunfingers at if you are listening to this on a train.

        Big up

So die-hard Brainz fans may have already heard this one, but I thought I’d chuck it out there for the Tube Train ravers.

Traktor ran a competition to do a mix with their app on an iDevice and I had a shot. Ultimately I’m disqualified due to it being 3 minutes too long, but whatevs. It’s been on Mixcloud for a week or 2, but I thought I’d throw it up in the podcast feed for the takeaway gang.

It’s a quick 30 minute blast of randomness. Hopefully it’s up your street.

So it’s been over 18 months since I smashed it up on the tube train for you. Well, I fancied it this week so we’ve got a fresh Tube Train Tear Up for you.

Over the past 4 – 6 weeks, I’ve had so many tunes that I’ve not been able to play them all on radio. So I thought “what better way to give them a spin” than with a little commute mixing.

Lots of nasty bass for you in this one. Hope you enjoy!

                Hi guys,

It’s been a while since I last tore it up on the tube train. I fancied throwing down this morning and recorded this in one blast. Oh gosh. I was literally walking through the barriers at Liverpool Street with an iPad whilst in the mix. Hope I did you proud.

Always like to cheese it up a bit on the tube. So I hope this isn’t too stilton for all of you.

                Enjoy like Pak Choi

                • iPad 3-Step – Retinatastic UK Garage – Episode 006 – Tube Train Tear-up

                  NERD ALERT!

Yes that’s right: I bought an iPad 3. Ooo wow the pixels. So dramatically different. Not a waste of money at all. Honest.

So what have I done so far with my iPad 3? Bought a bunch of apps I’ll never use. Watched Tulisa noshing off Fazer in glorious SD-on-HD style just to make it feel that much dirtier. According to Dappy it’s Fazer anyway. He’s says he’d know that dick anywhere. Cute. Bet he’s got the anal scarring to prove it too.

And the last thing I did with my iPad 3 was record an episode of the Tube Train Muthafucking Tear-up.

I went for a more traditional flavour of new school UK Garage. You know, the type that still mainly sounds like old school. For taste, I’ve splashed in some nice new Futurey type garage riddos as it will bring spice to any dish that needs livening up.

Find some of the freshest vibes, including some forthcoming material. Magical.

So there you have it: Mixed live on the London Underground using a 3rd Gen iPad just after it came out – The Tube Train Tear-up Episode #6.

                  Enjoy, kiddiwinks.

                  • Super Ninja Bass Squad: Missed Gems – Episode 005 – Tube Train Tear-up

Yes people! We’re back on the tube train ripping up some riddims.

For this instalment of iPad mix-magic, I’ve drawn for the Super Ninja Bass Squad!

In a nutshell, I looked back at the countless tunes I’ve accrued over the past 12 months and had a re-listen. There’s so many tracks that I’ve managed to throw by the wayside by not paying proper attention to the actual tunes I own.

What we’ve got is a mash of secret sleeper tunes from the year past that I never got round to playing.

And the best thing is – there’s still plenty more! This episode ran to nearly 100 minutes where I just kept going back for more. And I still have more left. So there may be a follow up with the Super Ninja Support squad after this!

Anyway, have a listen and see what you think. I enjoyed putting it together and I hope you enjoy listening.

                    Safe,

                    Brainz

SEXY TIME! Smooth UK Garage for you this time round with my journeys on the London Underground.

I went through and randomly picked a bunch of gems that I haven’t played in a while and threw them together using my favourite shiny slate-like device.

I got a good reminder of how amazing the Midnight Circus and Bibliotek were whilst mixing this. This is old school and vocal UKG at some of it’s best.

                      Hope you enjoy!
